Inspection & Written Scheme of Examination (WSE)
Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR)
It is a legal requirement for commercial coffee machines operating under pressure to comply with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR).
Owners and operators have a legal duty to ensure that their coffee machines are:
- Operated safely
- Properly maintained
- Regularly examined at specified intervals
- Covered by a Written Scheme of Examination (WSE) before the equipment is put into service
Failure to comply with PSSR requirements may result in safety risks and non-compliance with UK regulations.
